27th January 2009 - 2nd Day of CNY

On the 2nd day of chinese new year, we went to our usual temple at Chai Chee to pray. After that, my mum suggested going to Loyang Dua Beh Gong temple to look at cows. That's right, due to this year being the year of ox, the temple brought in 5 cows as a lucky symbol during chinese new year.

The five 'holy' cows...

Dad and mum with one of the cows. My mum loves cow because she's born in the year of ox.

Standing (from left): Jassica & Joanne
Sitting (from left): Jia Wei, ME, Joey, Adeline and Eunice.

We always go to 4th uncle's (Jassica's dad) place for 2nd day of chinese new year because that's the only day they'll be free for house visiting. They sell 'bah chor mee' (pork mince noodles) for a living and only close their stall on the first 2 days of chinese new year.

ME and Adeline, with 4th uncle hiding his face and showing his hand in the background. As if we wouldn't be able to recognise him...

Adeline and baby Chloe, the 2 fingers above them belongs to my dad... Find that familiar? The uncles in our family seriously do not behave like their age.

Adeline and baby Chloe again. Chloe happened to sneeze at the exact moment I took this photo. Haha... That's Vincent at the back and 5th uncle standing behind Adeline.

I think baby Chloe put on quite a lot of weight during chinese new year too because the 'adults' keep feeding her chinese new year goodies!

ME holding baby Chloe with Vincent and wife, Rita, in the background. All of us are waiting for Rita to finish her degree studies and have a baby soon.

Video of ME holding baby Chloe and as usual, she's the star of the video. At that time, I did not know that Adeline was actually filming. I keep waiting for her to take the photo. Haha...

Video of my mum feeding baby Chloe. This video was from the first day of chinese new year but I forgot to upload it that day.
